What is Silofast?

Silofast Capsule is used for Problems with urination, Increased urgency, Incomplete emptying, Problems urinating, Hesitancy and other conditions. Silofast Capsule may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
Silofast Capsule contains Silodosin as an active ingredient.
Silofast Capsule works by blocking the alpha-1 receptors located in the muscles of human prostate, urinary bladder and urethra and relaxes these muscles.

Dosage

If you miss a dose of Silodosin, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Silofast Capsule Uses

Silofast Capsule use is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms:

• Problems with urination
• Increased urgency
• Incomplete emptying
• Problems urinating
• Hesitancy
• Silofast Capsule may also be used for purposes not listed here.

Silofast Capsule - Side-effects

The following is a list of possible side-effects that may occur from all constituting ingredients of SSilofast Capsule effects. This is not a comprehensive list. These side-effects are possible, but do not always occur. Some of the side-effects may be rare but serious. Consult your doctor if you observe any of the following side-effects, especially if they do not go away.

• Change or problem with discharge of semen
• Dizziness especially while getting up suddenly from a lay position
• Liver dysfunction
• Sore throat
• Stuffy or runny nose
• Allergic skin rejection
• Jaundice
• Diarrhea
• Headache
• Swelling of tongue
• Silofast Capsule may also cause side-effects not listed here.

Silofast Capsule - Drug Interactions

If you use otherSilofast Capsule review or over the counter products at the same time, the effects of Silofast Capsule may change. This may increase your risk for side-effects or cause your drug not to work properly. Tell your doctor about all the drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements you are using, so that you doctor can help you prevent or manage drug interactions. Silofast Capsule may interact with the following drugs and products:

• Amprenavir
• Atazanavir
• Clarithromycin
• Cobicistat
• Delavirdine
• Tenofovir

Silofast Capsule - Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to Silofast Capsule tab is a contraindication. In addition, Silofast Capsule should not be used if you have the following conditions:

• Allergic reactions
• Pregnancy and lactation
• Surgery
